Congress Solutions International (CSI) once again proved integral in the successful conduct of the World Economic Forum Summit on the Global Agenda in Dubai, which strengthened the emirate's reputation as a premier venue for high-profile events.

Over 700 VIP delegates from 90 countries, including leaders from academia, business, government and civil society, gathered to address some of the most pressing issues on the global agenda.

The three-day summit saw participants representing 76 Global Agenda Councils, discuss and draft proposals for the World Economic Forum’s Global Redesign Initiative, a programme that seeks to improve the processes and structures of global cooperation in the 21st century.

Held at the Convention Centre in Madinat Jumeirah, the summit was run by the World Economic Forum in partnership with the Government of Dubai.

Frederic Bardin, Senior Vice President, CSI said: “This was an important Summit for Dubai as it reaffirms the emirate’s position as a global congress hub and a centre for thought leadership. Once again, CSI had the opportunity to work closely with the World Economic Forum and the Government of Dubai and we are looking forward to working for the summit again next year.”

The summit was co-staged by CSI for a second consecutive year and the local Professional Congress Organiser (PCO) lived up to the high standards set in 2008.

Working in close coordination with the Government of Dubai, and demonstrating its broad portfolio of services, CSI provided a comprehensive range of solutions for the summit. CSI contracted local suppliers for translation, communication, staffing, freight forwarding, logistical arrangements, traffic control and entertainment, tours and excursions.
